About these terms

These Terms govern your use of this site and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

"TAP", "we", "us" and "our" refer to TAP, a company registered in Rwanda. "You" refers to the person using the site or placing an order.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. By placing an order you confirm you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into this contract.

Account registration

You can browse and check out as a guest or create an account. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access.

Products and pricing

All prices are in Rwandan Francs (RWF) and include any applicable VAT unless otherwise stated. We do our best to ensure prices and product details are accurate. If we discover a pricing error after you place an order, we will contact you and offer the option to confirm the order at the corrected price or cancel it for a full refund.

Product images are illustrative. Slight variations in colour, packaging, or accessories may occur depending on the manufacturer's batch.

Order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept the offer when we send the order confirmation by email or SMS. Until then, we may decline an order — for example, if a product is out of stock, the price was wrong, or we suspect fraud.

Payment

We accept Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Airtel Money), Visa and Mastercard, and cash on delivery within Kigali. Card and Mobile Money payments are processed by our payment partners; we do not store full card numbers.

Delivery

Delivery times and fees are detailed in our Shipping Policy. We deliver across Rwanda. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery, or on collection if you choose pickup.

Cancellations

You can cancel a paid order before it ships at no charge — WhatsApp us with your order ID. Once the courier has collected the parcel, follow our returns process below.

Returns and refunds

Our 30-day return window and refund process are described in our Returns Policy. Statutory rights under Rwandan consumer protection law are not affected.

Warranties

Manufacturer warranties on electronics and appliances are honoured by TAP for the duration stated on the product page. See our Warranty Policy for details on how to claim.

Acceptable use

You may not use the site to:

• Place fraudulent or speculative orders.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to disrupt the site.
• Post content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringes intellectual property.
• Resell our products in a way that violates manufacturer terms.

Intellectual property

All content on the site — text, images, logos, code — is owned by TAP or its licensors and protected by Rwandan and international copyright laws. You may view and download content for personal, non-commercial use only.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Rwandan law, TAP's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to a single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Rwandan consumer protection law.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control — for example, supplier outages, natural disasters, courier disruptions, or government action.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be notified on the site.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Kigali, without prejudice to your statutory rights as a consumer.
